Jay has led strategy development and financing activities for numerous private and public companies, since 1988. During this time, he has completed more than fifty transactions as either a principal or on behalf of clients, and has actively represented shareholder’s interests as a director or as an advisor to the Board of Directors of 25 different companies.
Jay has implemented and supervised a full range of acquisition, divestiture, and corporate finance activities from strategic planning, through target identification, negotiation, due diligence, financing, closing and post-closing integration, including a highly successful leveraged buy-out of Plastifab Industries. Jay’s varied operational experience is also sought for performance improvement.
A graduate of the Harvard Business School MBA program, Jay is an Electrical Engineer and graduate of The Royal Military College of Canada, where he was also commissioned as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Jay is an accredited professional electrical engineer, a Past-President of the Harvard Business School Club of Montreal and a Governor of the Harvard Club of British Columbia. He has authored six Business Economics video learning books, now available on the Apple Books store.
Gary regularly helps us navigate the implementation of complex concepts. In addition to being Sixforce’s general counsel, Gary has been President of Sidkoff, Pincus & Green since 1983. As an attorney, Gary has distinguished himself in the areas of complex litigation and corporate law, earning an international reputation for his expertise and creativity in negotiating and structuring mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings.
Gary has been counsel to several public companies, including LVI Industries (NYSE), Cyber-Care Inc. (NASDAQ), Pharmaceutical Marketing Service Inc. (NASDAQ) and The Bethlehem Corporation (AMX). Gary is a graduate of Temple University and Villanova Law School. He is a member of many professional associations, and has lectured professionally to business leaders, lawyers and students.
John is a CPA, CGA with 35 years financial and management experience in the public and private sectors. His expertise includes financial management, external auditing and Regional Corporate Services. He has worked extensively with First Nations.
During the last 10 years as Regional Director Corporate Services in British Columbia Region of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, his primary responsibilities were financial management, information management/information technology, records and document management, accommodation, contracting, purchasing, corporate data warehousing and internet/intranet services.
John is a past Secretary-Treasurer for the British Columbia First Nations Health Authority and has served in many other professional capacities, including service as the Controller at Vulcan Industries, and CFO at Corrections Services Canada.
Louise began with Sixforces 20 years ago and is our Vice-President of Business Development. During this time, Louise has also been a passionate leader of not-for-profit organizations. Louise served as President of the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association, where she helped lead the volunteer group that saved this landmark institution.
Louise then co-founded and was President of the YoungCuts Film Festival, an international film festival that has showcased thousands of Canada’s best young filmmakers. Fluent in French and English, she graduated from McGill University with a degree in Economics and Industrial Relations.
